Healed from depression

I started attending The Embassy in December of 2008. I have attended church off and on throughout the years. Something was different this time. I got active and devotional about going. I started attending meetings on Wednesday night led by Pastor Rick, and made all Sunday morning services and in January of 2009 started attending the evening service as well.

One evening service in January, I walked in knowing my life was going to be changed forever. I did not know how or what was going to happen. Pastor Rick led the service that night. I have lived most of my life with depression and anxiety. I had been on medication for it since about the age of 10. On this particular service people with anxiety and depression were called to the Alter for prayer and healing. Without thinking really I walked up. Anxiety filled within me but through faith and Christ I made it to the front. In my case a miracle was performed that night. Thank you Jesus! Amen! 

Since that night my life has never been the same. I am off ALL medications and doing great. Since that night I have faced many trials and Jesus has carried me through it all. My husband ended up into a cocaine relapse and left me with NO money, which could of devastated me but with prayer and faith I have been lifted through it. I pray daily for my husband and right now his is in rehabilitation (when he relapsed he had lost all faith) and he is back in close prayer with God.

I have a new place to live where I have the happiest little girl, I am making plans to return to school, and I honestly could not be happier and more content. There are still those ups and downs but I know that Our Lord is with me and will never leave or forsake me.
