Carnival of Hope “Durham’s Totally Free Festival” began in 2003 as a way to celebrate our community and bring joy and practical help to those less fortunate in our area.

Since that first year, thousands have been blessed by Carnival of Hope including many that are bussed in from lower income areas, and over $120,000 in groceries, toys and prizes has been given away. Our hope is that, for one day, families can forget about all the cares and daily challenges of life and be blessed by a free day of games, rides, music, prizes, food and so much more.

On Saturday, August 16th 2008 we will be holding our sixth annual Carnival of Hope; where we anticipate an attendance of 6000 or more people.

On that day everything will be provided at no cost to all who attend. Hot Dogs, Drinks, Popcorn, Cotton Candy, Ice Cream, Games & Prizes, Blow up rides, Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Paint Ball, Music, Drama, Shows, Hundreds of Great Prize Giveaways, Haircuts, Massages, Manicures, Groceries, Clothing, Toys and so much more

 

ALL  ABSOLUTELY  FREE !!!

 

Last year, we gave away over 2000 stuffed toys, over 30 brand new bicycles, a pocket motorcycle, an ATV, TVs, VCRs, a new refrigerator, plane rides, remote control cars, and many more incredible prizes. And we expect to give away much more than we did last year including more stuffed animals, more bikes, TVs, and the list goes on.
 
It is a huge undertaking, with a huge price tag, but one that we gladly embrace. However, to make this event as successful as possible we need  help. Monetary donations of $20 or more are tax recieptable and can be made online, by phone with credit card through our office, or by cheque mailed to The Embassy, 416 Taunton Road W, Oshawa, Ontario, L1H7K4  (Please make cheques payable to the Embassy and indicate Carnival of Hope in the memo portion)

Sponsor a Game or Ride:  For $200 or more your business will have your name posted at a game or ride indicating your sponsorship and partnership with COH in bringing joy to so many. Sponsorships range from $200 for a small family game to $1,000 for a large ride.
